Ferocious zombie extras are needed for the next episode of a West Midlands-based apocalyptic series.

Following the huge success of the pilot episode and episode 2, director and editor, Lee Page is looking for a horde of zombies to act in the next installment of his latest project, The 7th Day.

The pilot episode, based in Bromsgrove, attracted a great deal of attention from professionals and locals alike, all keen to get involved in the project.

Award-winning SFX stunt men, a professional zombie trainer, a cast of 40 locals and talented make-up artists who have experience with hit TV series, The Walking Dead, got stuck in with the second episode which was posted online this week.

And with a Go Fund Me page now open for donations to help the project progress, Lee hopes the series will eventually be screened at film festivals and broadcast on TV.

Lee said: “We now need more extras and cool locations for the upcoming episode as the infection reaches the city. Now we head to the city centre where the story really unfolds.”

There are already plans to film in a six storey military-style airside building, but the crew are looking for properties, factories and large scenic spaces to shoot episode 3.

“We want to let people know there are more opportunities and exciting things to come with the backing of the Midlands and talented people involved.

“We want to create a production the Midlands can be proud of,” he added.
